Adidas Originals

Now I know it has been out for a while but I have been meaning to post it as I love the new Adidas advert. Killer soundtrack and an awesome film. However I finally pulled my finger out when I saw this really cool parody from the Simpsons which made me laugh out loud. So here it is, the original one from Adidas and the parody. Enjoy

Converse Laces Viral

Converse recently worked together with artist Superblast, who got the opportunity to paint over a large scale ad of the sneaker company, in Berlin. Part of the Converse Laces campaign, the artist did not only add his personal touch to the campaign posters, he also customized lots of Converse sneakers in the Converse store in Berlin Mitte. Artschoolvets documented the performance and produced a small viral video of the artist in action. Definitely worth checking out and even better if you can manage to see it live in Berlin. Thanks to Highsnobiety.com for this find.

New England Kit

As the new England kit gets ready to launch the site that has been put together for it is cool. Also love the ideas they are bringing to the table about old school tailoring and simple design. Looking forward to seeing the kit. I always find it amazing how every football fan in England can remember their first England kit & the one that the team was wearing when he started supporting them.

Nuclear Forum

An intelligent and well designed video campaign, showing through drawings the interrogation of a father around the question of nuclear energy. The clip was produced by the Belgian association of the Nuclear Forum. For me this video also sparks of ideas of drawn multi-touch technology and how cool it could be to draw things, watch them come alive and then interact with them.

Scandinave Les Bains Vieux - Montréal

Located in Old Montreal and close to the Old Port, the 12,000-square-foot spa is the first urban undertaking of the Scandinave team, spearheaded by Benoît Berthiaume, co-founder and executive VP of the Gestion Rivière du Diable group.

Occupying the ground floor of a restored former warehouse, Scandinave Les Bains Vieux-Montréal’s setting is less intimate than the rural settings of the first two Scandinave spas. The first corporate spa opened in 1999 in the log-and-stone cabin country of Mont Tremblant’s ski hills in Quebec, and the first franchise opened in 2006 in the Blue Mountain ski hills of Collingwood, Ontario.

It's been a while since my last post but I have been incredibly busy (yeah, excuses, excuses!). Anyway here is the latest awesome thing I have seen, courtesy of coolhunter, once again you have made me feel like I live in a horrible building with terrible furniture and will never be able to afford a beautiful house.

Nice though isn't it.

Keep it. It’s on the King

A colleague at work brought my attention to this clever marketing ploy by Burger King. Shout out to sogoodblog and ted.me for these.

RJDJ - iPhone

RjDj enables music to react with the environment and turns the sounds we typically come across in a normal day into a rich orchestra of life,” continues Stefan Glaenzer, investor at RjDj. “It effectively builds a bridge between the real world and the electronic world of music – turning what has traditionally been passive sound into an engaging, interactive and highly creative experience. It also has the potential to make you feel like you have taken a large amount of hardcore drugs but they will not be using it at the priory any time soon....... I don't think!

Click here to see the movie

Here to download the app and find out more about it

Or here to have a look at other RJDJ scenes

Shout out to Cpluv where I found this.

The big em.... not so bad city

It has been a while since my last post and I am finally starting to feel settled in the cauldron that is London. After spending the first month in Kensington I have now headed further north and am now living in Islington, initial impressions are that it's a really cool place with loads of atmosphere so I am looking forward to exploring it. I am loving work and everyone is very nice and helping me settle, consequentially I am starting to feel more at home here already. Anyway enough soppy shite and lets have a look at some lovely stuff. Obviously I have been saving links like the proverbial squirrel before winter but I thought I should be more focused and go down a photography theme for this post rather than vomit a huge amount of links out. Some of these are dated but still worth a look so get clicking and enjoy.
